United Holding Group, a passive debt-buyer, is seeking a driven detail-oriented teammate to work in our Compliance team, managing compliance components with our third-party servicer network of collection agencies and law firms as well as our vendors. The work will include reporting, auditing, and communication monitoring. You will work closely with our Chief Compliance Officer and other leaders of the organization, rapidly gaining and utilizing new responsibility and experience.
Job Description:
The Compliance Assurance Specialist is responsible for managing several compliance components for a third-party servicer network including collection agencies and law firms. This compliance professional is a critical component to the company’s compliance program and helps to ensure and promote operational quality and enforce company expectations for third party servicers through compliance reporting, auditing, call monitoring and remediation.
Position Purpose: Perform quality review to ensure the highest level of compliance and service to the company
Job Responsibilities:
- Work directly with third-party servicers to maintain specific compliance requirements
- Coordinate internal and external compliance related meetings, including the creation of meeting agendas, generating meeting recaps and recording meeting minutes.
- Utilize and manage Provana programs including IPACS CMS and ICAP call monitoring, and manage relationships with third-party servicers via those programs. Additionally utilize DebtNext software in coordination with third-party servicers on account level communication and documentation.
- Conduct compliance meetings with third-party servicers and vendors to review compliance results including call monitoring results and your own manual reviews. Determine necessary remediation steps and ensure adherence.
- Advance compliance and quality control operation objectives by contributing information and analysis to team strategic plans and reviews, implementing quality and customer service standards as they are updated or modified, and identifying and escalating potential problems, issues, trends, and solutions.
- Assist in auditing process both in onboarding of third-party servicers and in ongoing reviews of existing servicers.
- Contribute to team efforts and initiatives by accomplishing related tasks and projects accurately and timely, with minimal to no margin of error.
- Stay abreast of client and regulatory requirements, such as state laws and client manuals.
- Manage various projects as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess critical thinking and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must be detail-oriented and a team player, highly motivated, self-driven, organized, and dependable
- Must exhibit professionalism at all times
- Must be able to operate and demonstrate proficiency with computer-based systems and be able to hear and transcribe audio recordings
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a financial services, collections, operations or customer service setting
- Prior credit and collection experience preferred
- Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position
