Harvest Overview: Based in Englewood, at the foothills of Colorado's Rocky Mountains, Harvest Strategy Group is the nation's leading end-to-end consumer debt collection management services provider. We hire the best and brightest to provide our clients with customized, national litigation and collection programs to maximize revenue on consumer receivables with enterprise-level audit, Compliance, and oversight. Harvest is small enough (approx. 37 employees) for employees to make an impact, but large enough to offer a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work with some of the nation's largest financial institutions.
Remote Work Expectations: This position is a Remote Eligible position, which means it can be performed remotely from any location in the continental US, but preference is given to those who live near our headquarters in Englewood, CO. Harvest currently operates in a flexible, hybrid workplace model where employees may choose to work from home or from the office, with the occasional required in-office days to facilitate connection and collaboration. For example, upon hiring, in-office training will be arranged so you can meet and work with those in your department. Most of your work may be performed at home after initial training with occasional in-office meetings once or twice a month for those who live locally. Those who live out of state will be in-office less frequently.
Position Overview: This position will be responsible for the design, upkeep, and direction of the Harvest reporting initiative. In this role, you will design and develop Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting software reports providing better communication and insight for internal and external audiences. These reports will also provide insights to improve decision-making for clients and the company as a whole. Interfacing with multiple resources such as 3rd party vendors, internal business units, and management is required to understand and deliver the most effective results.
Requirements
- 3 years of Microsoft Power BI/stack experience or similar technology.
- 3 years of experience utilizing M and DAX to conduct data transformations or similar.
- 3 years of experience with Stitch ETL or equivalent ETL technology.
- 3 years of experience with BigQuery or similar data warehousing technology.
- 3 years of experience with dbt - data modeling or similar data modeling skills.
- 3 years of experience building Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting software reports and dashboards with a strong design aesthetic.
- BS or MS in computer science or information system or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Microsoft Power Certifications.
- Experience in financial services or accounts receivable management industry.
- Experience in the financial services sector.
Position Responsibilities
- Oversee reporting processes and enhancements to Harvest’s suite of reports.
- Work closely with vendors and internal partners in the design, development, and produce daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
- Lead coordination with various business stakeholders to develop, implement, and convert relevant reporting projects.
- Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.
- Translate big-picture ideas into specific technical requirements for report development and consumable Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting software reports and dashboards.
- Manage the reporting system lifecycle, including the elimination of unnecessary reports.
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications and determine timeless for each report implementation.
- Maintain system documentation, develop job aids, and provide end-user training and troubleshooting support.
- Design, develop, and deploy Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting software scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.
- Assist with planned reporting migration activities, particularly as it relates to reporting conversion, mapping, revision, and redeployment.
- Complete revision, enhancement, and/or expansion of existing report programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
